Dear Balajians

I am Prof. Subba Rao, paying a tribute and eulogy on untimely demise, of Prof. Dr. (Col) Bala Sir, the President, of Sri Balaji University, Pune, where I served for over 20 years as a visiting faculty of Finance, Banking & Investments.

Bala Sir had been one of my closest well-wishers, for the last 20 years.

Bala Sir will ever remain in my heart, for three of his striking qualities:

His compassionate and helping nature,

His humbleness and His highly motivating and inspiring interactions, irrespective of one’s stature or position.

I would like to share two of Bala Sir’s personal emails, us of many, sent to me and a referral certificate issued to me, which manifest his rare qualities and attributes.

Irrespective of our age, competence, Bala Sir used to treat all the Faculties as one of his Family members. Just look at what he has written to me in one of his emails.
